There is a large chunk of us that remember a TV series called “My So-Called Life” and it was where we first met the actress Claire Danes. I will freely admit I don’t need to worry about …. Okay I was going to say if my parents like my boyfriend or peer pressure but…. Wow, I’m still a teenager. This is disturbing.
I’ve given up on dating for multiple reasons. And I have a bad case of I wanna be like Larry or David or Mercedes or Patricia. AKA Larry Correia, David Weber, Mercedes Lackey, Patricia Briggs. And the only way to do that is write – which means no dating, no worrying about what is popular now, no spending time on things that don’t relate to my writing. Luckily I can justify cons, which is what is keeping me sane.
I still have a day job and I aim for 2k a day. Most days I can hit 1500. But if I can get that 2k plus you’d get stories almost a month earlier. I’ve had several people tell me to do a Patreon, but what would I provide? Rough unedited chapters? Meh. Worried about that. Though I could do raw audio of the books being records. I’m trying but only so much I can do in a day.
Drafted Luck is at 90k and will probably come in much closer to 120k than 100k, ugh. I hope you like it because it is fighting me for every word. Stupid dragons and Cath and gorgons. They do NOT listen.

Just finished “No Luck”…. good story! I particularly like that Charles is exactly the sort of person who needs a spidery sort of familiar…. A budding sociopath, in serious need of friends to act as emotional support
Obviously, he does HAVE friends, but he doesn’t really understand that yet…don’t tell him, he’d be shocked to his toes! Besides, friendship is the kind of thing you have to recognize on your own.
In Other News…I was going to whine about ” where’s the next book”, and “when does it come out”…. yadda, yadda.
Never mind…it comes when it comes…and whining is SO unattractive. You keep on keeping on. Paying bills on time is MUCH more satisfying than dating, and who wants a wolf at the door?
I’m looking forward to Drafted Luck….especially since I’m really hoping the jerk with the bullhorn will end up providing calories and entertainment for Bob.
I just finished reading the first four Luck books… Wow. Thank you for such a rich and amazing series that truly pulled me into Cori’s world. I wish you all the best in your writing journey – it’s phenomenal to be a reader!

Patreon does not require video or audio. I am a patreon supporter of someone simply because i support them. I give a monthly amount. it helps them get over survival anxiety and in your case, i would get to read your works! it can’t hurt! many of us would contribute, you could write and pay bills and if you wanted to post snippets or blogs or bits at infrequent intervals, it would be fine!
I’m still thinking about it, but probably AFTER I go full time. Too many things going on now as it is.
Cannot wait for the next book. You are amazing! Just remember something that a lot of writers forget-excitement is great but sometimes it is okay to just visit with characters you like. I love Patricia Briggs because she never forgets that sometimes baking brownies and playing video games let’s us see the small moments in characters lives. In any case, I do not think you can write a bad book! Your characters are fabulous.

Just found the Luck series two days ago and I’ve already blitzed through all the available books. So excited for Drafted Luck!!! Is there a set release date? Is there anything I can do to read an early version? I want to read it sooo badly!! So excited!!!

John conroe gives a weekly update on words, his avg is 6k per week, 1500 a day is amazing, Weber books I have them all, are done in multple months . I just found your books last week and just caught up to you on Luck. My point is you do you and this reader will be thankful for your effort.

Just found and finished the Twisted Luck series. Enjoyed. Read through KU and hoping to buy. Have read conflicting comments about writer payments if buy before returning book or returning then buying after a week or two. It’s amazon so who knows.
