Review:
Jade is running from her past, herself, and most of all being human. The single human on a planet full of aliens her life is knocked off it’s safe course when another human shows up.
Oh, there is so much I could tell you about this book. Her history, her job, the Greest, the story line the title comes from. This world is different yet one step from our far, far, in the future. The ingesterie is an incredible idea and this was the first time I’d seen it. I’ve seen it in other stories since then, but it was here first. Or at least I read it here first.
I want you to go read this novel. I’m fighting not to go pick up the second book in this series Jade Darcy and the Zen Pirates. In fact the only down side I have for you is that this should have been a five – six book series. Unfortunately, you only get Jade for two books. But they were well wroth the read. And maybe someday Stephen and his wife Mary will bring Jade back to life.
