There will be blood…. & beer…. oh and demons too.

Well you would usually not start with this, but PROST!

Why start like that?  Well easy.  It’s introductions time and I really really like beer.  My Name is Doug Burbey and I’m the proud  co-author / world creator of the series you’ll be enjoying soon called Blood War.  Mel Todd, author of the now launching Kaylid Chronicles series, and I are bringing you the first installment called Blood War:Rage in a few weeks after the Kaylid Chronicles launch.  Both of use are also doing separate prequel novellas set in the Blood Wars universe to correspond with the coming Blood War launch. Why?  Well I know after reading Blood War: Rage you’ll need more dead demons and cold beer to consume as the universe unfolds throughout 2018.

Who am I?  Well it’s pretty simple:

I like zombie flicks, I brew beer and grow my own hops.  I grew up in the Philippines as a military brat but went to college in Michigan becoming a Detroit Lions fan in the Barry Sanders era.  I’ve lived across the country and I’m a retired military guy that still gets up way to early as a civilian. I’ve been in a couple wars around the world with the Army and  I now manage advance technology development programs.  But…. all that nonsense aside, now I’m bringing my mental chaos, in it’s very own new universe, to the world of Urban Fantasy just for you.

We’ve got a lot coming your way this summer.  Two new book series and world travel from both myself and Mel that I’m sure we will share with you.  I get Asia and Mel gets Scandinavia.  But I know you’ll like my pictures better.

Ssssshhhh don’t tell Mel,  but we all know you want racus Korea party pics more that those silly old fjordy thingy pictures from Norway.  Right?  Yeah, I thought so.  *fist bump*
